What does Block20 do?
We provide hands-on property management, letting, sales and maintenance services for residential properties in Johannesburg. We look after the property, the people living in it, and the details that keep everything running smoothly.
What makes Block20 different from other property managers?
We’re a hands-on, boutique property management company. We don’t believe in treating properties like numbers on a spreadsheet. Our team stays involved, communicates directly and takes responsibility for the day-to-day details.
Do you only manage properties, or do you also find tenants?
Both. We handle the full letting process, from marketing and viewings through to applications, lease agreements and tenant onboarding. Once a tenant moves in, our management team remains involved … or not … it’s up to you.

We believe better tenant service leads to better-managed properties. From maintenance and building access to payments and everyday queries, we make it easy for tenants to get help and keep communication clear.
How do you handle maintenance?
We coordinate maintenance from reporting through to resolution, using trusted contractors and keeping owners informed. The goal is simple: identify problems early, resolve them properly and protect the value of the property.

Yes. We believe property owners should never have to chase their own property manager for answers. We provide clear communication and reporting so you can see what is happening with your property.
Can Block20 manage an entire building?
Yes. We can manage individual properties as well as multi-unit buildings, handling the operational, tenant and maintenance requirements involved in keeping a building running effectively.

Yes. Our team can assist with positioning, marketing, viewings and the sales process, giving owners access to the same local property knowledge we use every day in our management and letting operations.
